Hazard Communication Quiz

The signal word is used to indicate the relative degree of severity of an immediate hazard. It is intended to call the worker’s attention to the level of a chemical’s hazard severity.“Danger” and “Warning”, as signal words are used to indicate a hazardous chemical that should be avoided failing which, one can suffer injuries or even die. The signal word “Caution” is used to indicate hazardous situation which could lead to minor or moderate injury, if not avoided. Lastly, “Notice” as a signal word is used to refer to practices and not potential injury.
