Respiratory Protection Quiz

Persons performing tasks which require the use of a respirator must be physically capable enough to execute the task while using the respirator. Employers must ensure that workers are medically fit enough to bear the psychological and physical stress associated with the use of a respirator, job requirements,and workplace conditions. Workers must be medically assessed by an OSHA-certified physician or a licensed health care professional (or PLHCP) before they are required to wear a respirator.
